The protection of personal data is important to us. As an accredited company, we always handle your data with the utmost care. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the applicable legal provisions, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of data (hereinafter: GDPR).

Personal data within the meaning of data protection law is all data that contains information about personal or factual circumstances, such as name, address, e-mail address, telephone number.
3. Purposes of data processing
Your data will be processed by us for the following purposes:
a) Answering your inquiries and follow-up questions, including preparing offers for contracts for our services
b) Operation and optimization of our website for informational purposes
c) Creation and delivery of information on current legal innovations and developments and descriptions of our controls and certifications as well as other services within the scope of the fulfillment of the contract
d) Evaluating the professional and personal skills of applicants and filling vacancies
4. Legal basis of data processing according to GDPR
The data processing for (a) to answer your inquiries and follow-up questions, including the preparation of offers for contracts for our services and for the fulfillment of existing contracts for our services in the context of the activity takes place on the legal basis of the fulfillment of the contract or pre-contractual measures with the respective ( potential) customers.
The data processing (b) for the operation and optimization of our website is based on the fulfillment of existing contracts and on the necessary information regarding the respective services.
Data processing (c) for information purposes is based on the fulfillment of the contract or pre-contractual measures.
Data processing (d) as part of the application process takes place on the legal basis of consent, pre-contractual measures and the legal basis of legitimate interest, namely the interest in examining suitability for the specific position in the company.
If you are already our customer or want to become one, i.e. you have an existing contract or want to conclude one, you are - based on the contract - obliged to provide certain personal data that are necessary as part of the control and certification process.
5. Recipient of the data
The personal data will be passed on as follows:
a) As part of the control and certification activity: authorities; private standard and specification operators, if there is a contract for this; other control bodies, if this is necessary for the performance of the service; the EASY-CERT platform for the publication of certificates according to ISO 17065; accredited laboratories for any sample analyses. Furthermore, data is provided to companies for the dispatch and transport of letters, printed matter and parcels and to companies for the professional disposal of paper and files. If necessary, data will be forwarded to insurance companies, banks, tax consultants, auditing companies.
b) Operation and optimization of our website: to designers and administrators of our homepage.
c) As part of public relations and information work for graphic designers, editors and printers
d) Application procedures are handled internally
In addition, we undertake not to pass on your personal data to third parties unless we are legally obliged to do so or based on a decision by the authority.
6. Data transfer to a third country
As part of the control and certification activities, it may be necessary for personal data to be forwarded to other companies outside of Austria and outside of the European Economic Area, in particular to Switzerland. Switzerland is considered a third country with adequate data protection (DSAV).
7. Duration of data storage
Personal data that we process are only stored until the purpose for which they are processed has been fulfilled. Criteria for retention are:
a) As part of the control and certification activity: if the requirements of the accreditation authority and corporate law retention periods have to be observed, the duration of the storage of control-relevant data must be at least ten years. Further criteria for storage are obligations, the fulfillment of obligations to provide evidence and the duration of the statute of limitations for legal claims (duration depending on the legal basis).
b) Operation and optimization of our website: No personal data is stored for visitor statistics.
c) Information and public relations work: as long as there is a contractual relationship with our customers or, in the case of interested parties, until the consent given has been revoked.
d) Application procedure: The data will be stored for up to 7 months after the end of the application process if no contractual relationship is established. If consent is given for keeping records, the data will be stored until the consent given is revoked.
8. Your rights
As a person affected by data processing within the meaning of data protection law, you have the following rights in particular, provided they do not conflict with our contractual relationship:
- Right to information about your processed personal data;
- Right to rectification or erasure or restriction of processing, whereby the conditions of the control contract apply to customers with a valid contractual relationship;
- Right to object to the processing, whereby the conditions of the control contract apply to customers with a valid contractual relationship;
- Right to data portability.
Should there be any changes to your personal data, we ask that you inform us accordingly. If you are of the opinion that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the data protection authority.
So If the data processing is based on your consent, you can revoke your consent to data processing at any time in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to email@example.com. A revocation does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent up to the revocation.
9. Links to other websites
Our website also contains links to other websites. However, the data protection declaration described here does not apply to these websites. We therefore ask you to visit these websites directly in order to obtain the data protection information for the respective websites there. Bio Garantie cannot be held responsible for actions taken on these websites or for their content.
10. Web Server Logs
The web server automatically recognizes certain personal data such as your IP address, date, time, user agent of the browser and the target page. For technical reasons, this data is stored for 2 weeks and then automatically deleted.
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do no harm. The following data is recorded: Language settings, user tracking for web analysis
Our website uses so-called "session cookies". These are cookies that are only active while you are visiting the website. Session cookies are therefore limited in time and are generally deleted when the browser/tab is closed.

12. Web Analysis
Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics Google Inc., Gordon House Barrow St Dublin 4, Ireland. Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by your users. The information generated in this way is transferred to the provider's server and stored there. The IP address is recorded, but made anonymous immediately by deleting the last digit. As a result, only a rough localization is possible.

Your data is hosted by a provider located within the European Union. Both Austria Bio Garantie/agrovet and the provider use technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized persons. Notwithstanding our efforts to maintain a consistently high level of due diligence, it cannot be ruled out that information that you provide to us via the Internet will be viewed and used by other people.
Please note that we therefore assume no liability whatsoever for the disclosure of information due to errors in data transmission not caused by us and/or unauthorized access by third parties (e.g. hacker attack on email account or telephone, interception of faxes ).
