The CIBUS.trace standard brings transparency and traceability to the food chain.

In order to meet the growing demand for traceable, credibly produced and labeled food in an international context, the name of the VUQS meat labeling system was changed by Delimax GmbH: VUQS becomes "cibus.trace". The specification VUQS-R was renamed to "cibus.trace beef" and VUQS-S to "cibus.trace pork".

Based on guidelines, the production and marketing companies have standardized tools at their disposal for the implementation and verification of quality and origin - especially for meat products.
